Relieved to have the shield installed. When I think of the potential hassle and expense of replacing the converter…….. I sleep better now💤💤💤

Peace of mind

I consider this shield to be worth every penny for providing peace of mind from, at least, deterring, if not preventing, would be cat choppers. For work I park near some,, less than awesome areas. And now I don’t sweat leaving my truck there all day. On top of that, these folks designed this in such a way that it’s super easy to install. It took me less than an hour to install the full shield covering all 4 cats on my 2018 tundra.

My Tundra cat shield

I’m satisfied with the product and the good instructions, just some minor concerns / questions.
Notice the top front cover when I pull on the top it’s seems kind of flexible might give access to cutting the front cat, might need a top bracket at the same time a little concern that the airflow restriction might overheat the cat and transmission.
Second the main shields only has one side of vents might benefit from more vents to improve airflow to cats and transmission.
Third, the optional rear cat covers I was unable to secure the side near the frame I was looking to drill the frame and secure each cover but due to to reaching the frame I wasn’t able to do it. It seems also that there’s a possibility that these might be pull down and compromising the rear cats. The rear cover might use a higher profile to hide more the rear cats.
Overall I’m satisfied with the added protection.
Thank you

Mod needed for 6 " lift

I got the thick stainless steel plates and they seem like they'll do the trick. But, I wish I had noticed anything on the website regarding modifications needed for lifted trucks that have cut frames. I didn't see anything about that issue at all. With a cut frame and lift kit, the main shield can't fit on the front side. I'm going to have to bend, cut, drill, mod in some sort of way to be able to fasten the front end. If there's an easier alternative, I'd sure like the advice.
