MILLERCAT 2016-2022 Toyota Tacoma 3.5L 2WD Cat Shield™

I've never had my hands on another brand so I don't have much to compare to, but the metal is thin and the wings flex quite a bit so I'm curious how easy it would be for a cat thief to simply cut through this thing. The rear of the passenger side cat is still easily accessible but the plate covers the front pretty well so hopefully it will serve its purpose as a deterrent. Also doubles as a transmission skid plate so that's a nice bonus.

Install was a breeze, with basic tools this is easily installed in under an hour.

The cat shield went on fairly easy took about 30 minutes to install, good instructions and looks like it should detour the scum that lurks in the night. I added silicone gasket glue to the heads of the safety bolts just as an added Precaution.

The product is very well manufactured but there are some things that could improve: It has a ring as it flexes when driving and can be heard inside the cab, appears to be coming from the wings, I feel like they need to be made more rigid. Also the safety Torx bit included (the big one TT40) did not fit the big safety screws , i wrote to miller cat and never received a response.

It was easier than I expected. The product arrived on time and e/o a scratch. The only issue I had was that it was a two person job to install and my family managed to disappear in time for my first attempt to install. Installation beyond that was quick and easy.
