The Gen 2 Cat Shield ™ offers the most protection out of any product in the market. The bottom lip deters thieves from cutting the rear pipe. Louver vents provide efficient cooling, visibility for smog techs to read the converter part number, and protects the vehicle from debris. Fully removable, galvanic corrosion resistant, and no large openings for thieves to cut through. We highly recommend pairing this shield with our Deadbolt.

Purchased the shield, and the Deadbolt to protect the Flange bolts from being removed. There were no instructions included with the shield. The deadbolt had (sparse) instructions, but did not fit properly as made. The threaded hole for the security screw was positioned such that it ran into the flange bolt rather than passing over top. I had to remove, drill and tap a new hole to have it work properly. There was no security driver bit in the Deadbolt, so I only have the one that came with the shield itself. Spend the time generating good quality installation diagrams and photos, and assure all materials and instructions are included in the packaged products you sell.
easy for our mechanics shop to install. same fuel efficiency afterwards
I had mine installed at a body shop. Installing was fast. Now my mind is at ease. I put the sticker in front of the driver’s side, I just wished it was the clear one but then it’ll be less visible. Ii had my Catalytic Converter stolen twice and reported them to LAPD and nothing, not even a patrol in my area. Now I can sleep better.
I purchased the aluminum shield and a pair of exhaust hangers. Even with the new exhaust hangers, the converter is hitting the shield especially when accelerating from a standstill. I ended up placing some spacers to solve the problem. If the shield was molded with a valley to clear the catalytic converter.
that would solve the rattling. Also, the shield needs to be about 5 to 6 inches longer in back because you can still get a reciprocating blade to cut the back end.
