Installed the device in my daughter's Prius. Easy installation and sure provides the security we expect will deter thieves.
My local Toyota dealership installed the converter. We are quite satisfied with the product and the installation.
Stainless , well made , easy installation. Can’t ask for more , should at least ‘‘em down a bit .
I told my mechanic we bought a Prius, and the first thing he said was, "Get a Cat Shield". There are so many brazen thefts in broad daylight in every neighborhood, so it only makes sense to get a Cat Shield installed just as an extra layer of security for your vehicle if you park outside. MillerCat's correspondence is top notch, delivery was quick, great product.
It's hard to totally evaluate the CatShield since it's only been on my 2017 Prius 2 for a week. Your best bet, however, is to buy directly from the manufacturer - you may even find a discount coupon online like I did that saved $10. But be sure to shop around for an installer and give the one you choose the 4-page installation manual in advance - in fact get them to the video at MillerCAT first. I was quoted installation fees of $187.50 and $140 to $160. I went to the latter and the actual installation was just $112, more in line with the 30-minute installation time MillerCAT claims. The fellow answering MillerCAT's support line, by the way, was superb and refreshingly candid. That's what sold me on going with MillerCAT.
